Arroz con Leche

Yeah, I heard about the honor code enforcement on the BYU team.  Unfortunately, that's about all I've heard about the BYU team.  I know nothing of the madness of march.  Let me know how BYU is doing.  I heard they've got a great team this year.  Also, how is Japan doing?  As well as the pacific coast of the Americas?  I heard about the enormous earthquake and tsunami warnings and everything but, as you can imagine, I only get bits and pieces.  Alan got baptized yesterday.  I don't remember if I told you about him.  He's a 13-year-old venezolano and he's super excited to be a mormon.  He can't wait to get the holy ghost so he can go teach with us and ride in the "godmobile."  I got a recipe for arroz con leche from a hondurenian member.  I'll try it out and then if I can figure out how to make it right I'll send it to you.  Arroz con leche is delicious, and pretty cheap.  Condensed milk is the only thing that we don't already have. I'm pretty excited to make it.  I can't imagine any tourist wanting to come to Hialeah.  Although we might get some traffic if people are going back and forth between Miami and the Everglades.  Lots of people here are taking off to the caribbean to visit their families (or to have dental work done for cheap).  Happy pi day!  I love strawberry pie.  Maybe we'll have to get some $1 cherry pies from mcdonald's later.  I need to take more pictures.  This place really is worth remembering.  That's my goal for this week.  Well, until next time.  Have a great Spring Break!

Ah, Orange blossoms, eh?

I have ten minutes to write this letter.  Diane, I hope you have a lot of fun in California.  I have some friends serving there.  I don't know which mission Carlsbad is in though.  Mom, can you send me a recipe for Lemon Bars and breadsticks and maybe a couple other things that are super easy to make, and diane's chocolate chip cookies.  That would be super cool.  I like cooking stuff.  So, something cool about the Ft. Lauderdale mission.  Since President Hale has been here, they've seen a dramatic increase in baptisms.  When missions have dramatic increases in baptisms, general authorities come and visit to see what made the difference.  So we get a lot of them.  Elder Giddens is coming on Friday.  Sorry this is obnoxiously short.  I wrote Adam first.  What else.  Hialeah is super crazy as always.  This cool kid named Alan should be getting baptized soon.  He's awesome.  Well I'm out of time.  Love you.
